That the alignment came off, and a freaking balancing weight came off your rim?
I did.
Apparently the rims are OK, the tires though are destroyed, as a low profile tire would be after hitting a bump in a car with maxed out weight at near highway speed . Since no one in this country uses the tires my car uses, they’re impossible to find, as such they want to sell them to me for six hundred dollars each. I asked the tech if I could get the set of 18in rims and tires for less money, they said “Probably.”

Nothing says “Mexico” like carrying a Baseball hat to protect your Kia Car looks pretty good in white though.

I mean, it’s a KDM car in the picture .
I don’t carry a bat, my shiv and my .38 serve me well enough.

A colleague of my partner hit a pothole with a cab over truck. The steering wheel got him and perforated his bowel...

I wanted to go with a 50 profile tire, but it would really mess up with my speed inaccuracy

Strangely enough, my speedo is dead on accurate since adding the bigger ATs?
I guess it’s a Mopar thing.....

I mean, it’s a - 3% error at 100km/h... while the 45 section has something like 0.5% error vs my old rims.
but it seems like many cars use 225/45/r18 because there are a lot more tires for those, and a lot cheaper than the 50 sections.

I did. It blew the tire and bent my steel rim. Hammered it back to straight-ish and new tire and was good to go.

What is that space filled with black rubber between the rim and the ground?

It’s called comfort.
